DESCRIPTION
In response to a product rebranding, this redesign of the Scott Paper domain reinstates a disciplined and consistent design approach to Kruger’s commercial offering.

We were hired by Aquent in 2005 to refine a logicflow and page design system for Kruger’s Scott Paper domain. In the months leading up to a re-imaging of the product’s packaging, the site had remained dormant. The existing design had run its course. As part of our assessment and subsequent redesign, we addressed issues of consistency, nomenclature and content balance inherent in the existing communications platform. Responding to these issues independently of the greater design assignment allowed us to focus our attention and remedy the site’s architectural shortcomings, preventing them from carrying forward.

As the result of our design efforts, the Scott Paper site received an extensive facelift. Our design solution is largely informed by the product’s revised aesthetic – bold, fresh and in keeping with current market trends. The site also benefits from a much improved navigation system which simplifies lateral movement through the various product pages.
