Uncompromising quality – seen through a new and different lens.
In preparing Moveable Inc., a leader in both print and online communications production services, for their presentation at the 2010 CIRI conference, our challenge was to bring new voice to a well-established brand. At its core, Moveable’s story has never strayed – a legacy of craftsmanship, more than 25 years of unparalleled attention to detail. However, in light of the organization’s expansion toward a greater online services offering, existing communications felt too narrow, too focused.
Our recommendation to Moveable has them communicating their service offering in a manner that is completely unbound from application – transcending medium and focusing on the value inherent in their people, processes and values. This approach would effectively underscore the organization’s role as a valuable contributor to any communications initiative. However, such significant change would require a careful migration plan. CIRI offered Moveable the first step – a small but confident step in a new direction.
In most cases, we've tried to distance Moveable from metaphor, letting their significant body of work speak for itself. Where they had defaulted to depicting their portfolio at arm’s length, we’ve focused on the macro-details – a space often deemed too unforgiving or unflattering for the average production services provider. We’ve framed text with the rich colour and raw texture inherent in their portfolio, giving Moveable the best opportunity to demonstrate results. |
