DESCRIPTION
Xeye’s web presence is positioned as a key contributor to the company’s global sales and marketing initiative. Through a series of interactive models, the site aims to clarify Xeye’s highly evolved suite of wealth management software tools.

For nearly a decade, Riordon Design had provided creative brand expression for New York-based Xeye – a global provider of wealth management technology solutions serving some of the world’s leading financial institutions. When Xeye approached Riordon in 2007 with the goal of better articulating its value proposition online, Riordon partnered with Pear for site planning, design and engineering.

The design of the site was largely informed by market trend – choice of visuals and typography were the end result of an informed assessment process. However, representation of product presented a significant challenge for the collective design team – we needed to bring a physicality to Xeye’s product as the toolset lacked a visual identity and there was no packaging of any kind.

With an emphasis on the platform’s comprehensive and highly configurable design, we developed the visual design around a hexagon motif, one which is inherently modular in form. This became the basis for a series of interactive models intended to facilitate the communication of product information on the site. The models empower each product component with a certain tactility and demonstrate their value both as a standalone solution and as a contributor to the larger, multifunctional system. By granting visitors control of these models and their display, we hoped to better their understanding of Xeye’s products and increase their retention of information.
