DESCRIPTION
Copenhagen Cardiovascular Clinic’s site aims to transcend geographic boundaries and promote awareness of hormone therapies. Building on our identity design, the site reflects the clinic’s warm and welcoming manner.

We’ve built a strong relationship with Copenhagen Cardiovascular Clinic, having contributed to the design of its identity and website since 2004. As the world’s foremost authority on andropause and hormone replacement therapy, the clinic has challenged us to bring clarity to a host of complex subjects. The task has prompted us to better our understanding of this specialized medicine and perceptions surrounding its application.

The clinic’s site targets a broad audience – men and women of virtually every age. Our top priority was to organize its health services offering into something visitors worldwide can understand. Deemed too complex to relate through any visual, the bulk of this task was managed through the site’s text content, provided by the clinic’s founder and industry leader Dr. Michael Hansen. We designed the site’s communications to leverage the best of Dr. Hansen’s contribution, which was appropriately concise and digestible.

In keeping with the clinic’s demographic, our choice of visuals was arbitrarily neutral and wide-reaching. Key to our approach is the homepage’s engaging presentation layer – a kinetic visual depicting a broad sampling of the site’s target audience. Above any other facet of our design system, this motif helps to soften the site’s entry and provide a point of interest for the remaining text pages.
